About me
Hi, I am second year Civil Engineering undergraduate at the University of Liverpool. I studied Maths, Physics and Geography at A-Level and would be comfortable teaching GCSE Physics and Maths. The reason I enjoyed this course so much was due to having a great teacher which really allowed me to click with the content, he provided simple rules which should have been followed for every calculation within the syllabus: - Write out equation. - Check units. - Convert units (g --->kg, kN ---> N etc.) - Input values! These four simple checks really make GCSE Physics very simple, as a lot of the 'confusing' questions are content students have completed before, however with strange units which cause issues when they attempt to convert them. On top of this I have always found applying knowledge is the best way to learn it, which is why I will go through an example question and leave the student to do the next one by themselves and help them through it if they become stuck. In my opinion this way of applying the knowledge taught often leads to a better understanding.
